If this is not feasible, long welding neck nozzles, up to and including DN 100 (4"), may be manufactured from forged bar material with low sulphur (0.008% max.) and low phosphorus (0.015% max.) content. 6. LONG WELDING NECK NOZZLES Long welding neck nozzles shall be forge-shaped as close as possible to the required final dimensions.
