6. LONG WELDING NECK NOZZLES

Long welding neck nozzles shall be forge-shaped as close as possible to the required final dimensions.

If this is not feasible, long welding neck nozzles, up to and including DN 100 (4"), may be manufactured from forged bar

material with low sulphur (0.008% max.) and low phosphorus (0.015% max.) content.
